Mark was born in Dallas, Texas, on August 30, 1956. He was the youngest of four children, having two sisters and a brother. He was married to Barbara, who he loved dearly, for more than 46 years. His daughter Tara, who meant the world to him, resides in North Dallas with her husband and young son.
