Byron Floyd Goode Sr.

Byron Floyd Goode Sr. of Jarrell, TX passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024 at the age of 83.Byron was born in 1940 to Claudia and Raymond Floyd Goode of Jarrell, Texas. He attended Texas A&M College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in animal husbandry as part of the class of 1962.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Horton Townsend, who left us from complications of early onset dementia on May 24, 2024, just 12 days short of her 69th birthday.  Cindy was a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother “Cici” and dear friend to many.

Mary Patricia McLaughlin, 76,  went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2024. A Private burial was held at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin. She was born June 26, 1947, in Austin, Texas, to the late John C. (Mack) McLaughlin and Lucille (Dickerson) McLaughlin Broderick.

Ann Corso

Ann Corso, lovingly known as Numi, was born on September 24, 1956, in McAllen, Texas, to her hardworking and loving parents, Joe Vincent Corso and Shirley Johnson. She peacefully passed away after a short battle with cancer on May 12, 2024, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her loved ones.

Paul Homer Smith

Paul Homer Smith, CW4/Major US Army (Retired), passed away peacefully at age 85 on May 10, 2024, at Ascension Seton Hospital in Round Rock, Texas, following a bout with cancer. Paul was born in the “Cow Country” of Wyoming and raised by loving parents in Lander.

William Harris “Bill” Connor

William Harris “Bill” Connor was born on June 27, 1942 in Houston, Texas, the middle child of three born to William Harris Connor Sr. and Marjorie Cocanour Connor.  Born and raised in Houston, Bill graduated from Lamar High School in 1960.

Shawna Shay Smith

1990 - 2024: Shawna Shay Smith, 33, of Liberty Hill, Texas,, passed away in Round Rock, Texas, on May 11. Born July 5, 1990, in Austin, Texas. The daughter of Gene and Karen Smith, she was welcomed by two older sisters and was quickly followed by a younger brother and sister.

Patsy McKinney

Patsy McKinney was born on January 20, 1938, to Emory and Emma Louise Wilkinson in Jacksonville, Texas. She peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 15, 2024, in Georgetown, Texas. Patsy lived her childhood years in Troup, Texas, and graduated from Troup High School in 1956.

(1937-2024) Ophelia Rowland Ontiveros, beloved mother to six children, 86 years old, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away in the company of her family on Friday, May 10th, 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Patricia Ann Dodge (Pomeroy)

Patricia Ann Dodge (Pomeroy) passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024 after a brief decline. Pat was born June 6, 1926 in Middleton, Michigan, to Bard and Kathryn Pomeroy. She attended school in Middleton, except for one year of high school in Sarasota, Florida.
