Richard “Dick” Charles Parsell, age 87, passed away at his home in Georgetown, Texas, on October 17, 2019. He was born on May 28, 1932, in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, to Helen (Anderson) and Garrett Harvey Parsell.

Dorothy Jan (Gray) Parsell

Dorothy Jan (Gray) Parsell, age 86, passed away on February 15, 2024, in Cedar Park, Texas.  Jan was born on December 14, 1937, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 10 minutes before her twin sister, Joan, to Dorothy Louella (Rabenau) and Francis Hugh Gray.

Effie May (Hine) Selman

Effie May (Hine) Selman was born August 29,1939 at her parent’s home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Effie entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 14, 2024, at the age of 84.

Marilyn Mehaffey

Marilyn Mehaffey of Georgetown, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2024.  She was born on March 28, 1940 to Reverend John and Margueritte (Nolan) Schlenker in Peoria, Illinois.

Betty Sue Barker

Betty Sue Barker, 92, died peacefully February 17, 2024, with her daughters at her side. She was born October 10, 1931, in Georgetown to Truman Curtis Green and Sophie Edna Singleton.  Except for a short time in Burnet County, Betty grew up and lived in the Georgetown area all of her life.

Tommy Sawyer Walker

Tommy Sawyer Walker was born in Taylor, Texas, to Thomas and Della Thornton on February 24, 1935. She went to elementary school in Jonah and attended high school in Georgetown, Texas. Tommy was an exceptional student and was awarded the American Legend Award for her outstanding academics.

William “Bill” I. Bayer

William I. Bayer “Bill” went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2024, at the age of 87 shortly after being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was a trooper until the end. Bill was born in Loysburg, Pennsylvania on October 29, 1936, to George W. and Dora F. (Kagarise) Bayer.
