The event is at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 30, in the Heritage Oaks Community Center, 4611 Verde Vista.

Anthony Blankenship — an author, medical professional, Army veteran and Georgetown parent — will take a seat on the GISD Board of Trustees in May.
Mr. Blankenship is running unopposed for Place 5 in the May 6 election. The position is being vacated by three-term trustee Melanie Connor.

On Friday, March 10, a formal kick off ceremony will be held on the east side of the historic courthouse starting at 2 p.m.
