With a capacity of 900 students, Jarrell ISD’s new Double Creek Elementary will open with 750 students August 16. The latest demographics report presented by Zonda Education, however, predicts that the school will exceed its capacity by 2025-26.

Jarrell PD had an increased presence at Jarrell Middle School on Monday.

Man charged with capital murder for deaths of Jarrell High School students

Killeen teenager Christijan Deshaun Stevens has been arrested in Bell County, accused and charged with capital murder in the January shooting deaths of two Jarrell ISD students, Austin Police officials said Monday. Mr. Stevens, 19, was arrested on March 8 by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, U.S.

Jarrell High School student Brayden Bolyard, 17, was killed in a shooting at the Moon Palace Hookah Lounge in Northwest Austin on Saturday night, January 28, the Austin Police Department confirmed Monday. Another Jarrell student was injured in the incident.
