The 2026 Red Poppy Festival brings not just vendors and food for visitors, but music from artists like Maddie & Tae, Jade Eagleson and Dysfunkshun Junkshun, making a fun environment for the whole family. The Red Poppy Festival will take place on April 24- 26.

Nonprofits excluded from Georgetown's Red Poppy Festival

The Red Poppy Festival each spring brings live music, food and vendor booths to downtown Georgetown. It especially brings people — tens of thousands — from across Georgetown and the Austin area. In 2026, booths will be assigned only to businesses and those selling goods.

Schedule: 2025 Red Poppy Festival weekend

 Head down to the Square to kick off Georgetown’s 26th-annual Red Poppy Festival Friday evening with a live performance by Dysfunkshun Junkshun at 7 p.m.The three-day festival runs through Sunday afternoon and offers live music, food, vendors, family-friendly activities and parades.

Texan Cory Morrow headlines Georgetown Red Poppy Festival

Texas country singer-songwriter Cory Morrow will headline Georgetown’s 26th annual Red Poppy Festival on Saturday, April 26. The country artist is known for songs like “The Man I’ve Been,” “Texas on My Mind” and “Always and Forever.”Mr. Morrow’s performance is from 8:30-10 p.m.

Georgetown set for Red Poppy Festival this weekend

Streets around downtown will be closed in the lead up to the Red Poppy Festival that will take place April 26-28.  The festival will have market vendors, food, activities and stage acts for the entire family in downtown Georgetown.  Starting at 6 a.m.
