Paintings and fiber art on display in Round Rock

Enjoy the art of Melanie Maddox Olson at the Round Rock Public Library. This exhibit offers a selection of the artist’s paintings and fiber art including crewel embroidery. Her art is inspired by experiences living in Italy and Portugal and her love for poetry.

Small Works The “Small Works” exhibit opens at the Georgetown Art Center Friday, November 11, and runs through December 22. The sampling of small works from selected artists is a juried art exhibit organized by Georgetown Art Works. A reception for the artists is 4-6 p.m.

New mural installed in Taylor

Rachel Martin completed a new mural in Potter's Alley in Taylor. “Please come check it out and take photos with it. It’s my little love letter to Taylor, Texas, and the people who inspired the mural,” she said. Ms. Martin has been a member of Taylor Public Arts since March 2021.

The new art exhibition, The Hill We Climb, at Georgetown City Hall is on display through December and features acrylic and mixed media by Diane Sandlin. Abstract painter Diane Sandlin’s exhibit, The Hill We Climb, is inspired by Amanda Gorman’s 2021 inaugural poem of the same name.
